I’ve been teaching pottery to either secondary students, special needs adults or the general public over the last twenty years. Working for Private schools, Camphill Communities UK & USA, Lansdown Pottery, Darbyshire Framers and Ruskin Mill. In 2007 I moved with my husband to Stroud and began working part-time for Lansdown Pottery in the basement of the Centre for Science and Art. I have continued to be part of a pottery in this beautiful building for twelve years in some shape or form.

I am excited to be part of Craft at the Centre where I am currently running a couple of public pottery classes, offering a class to a few Alternative Provision students, hosting the odd bespoke pottery party and generally taking care of the studio. Until now my own work has taken a back seat. My road back into producing has been inspired by Polish pottery and a love of texture. I’m hoping to increase this range of functional ware and would love to make some bigger pieces in the future.
