It is with a heavy heart that we the Craft at the Centre team,  announce that due to the recent change in tiers and its restrictions, we are temporarily closing our studio doors until we have the go ahead from our local authorities.  All classes, drop-ins and workshops are sadly cancelled. This was a tough decision which impacts us all,  but after seeking advice we felt it was the correct action to make.

We look forward to reopening and greeting all you wonderful creative students soon.

Take care  and  stay safe.

We all wish you a Happy New year.

May 2021 be a year of health, happiness and togetherness

The team

Craft at the Centre is a focus for craft practitioners and teachers, working together to develop a vibrant social hub for community engagement and wellbeing through craft and creativity.

We offer weekly pottery classes to all levels and weekend workshops in our well equipped pottery.  We also hold informal drop-in sessions in the pottery where people can come and use our facilities to work on their own projects in a supportive, social setting.  We occasionally offer weekend workshops in a variety of different crafts together with family events, activity days and seasonal celebrations. See our Events page.

If you are looking to learn a craft, develop your skills further or just fancy treating yourself to some stress busting creativity, why not see what we have on offer?  If you are a craft practitioner and are looking for bench space or a chance to meet up with other craftsmen and women to share ideas please do contact us.
