We the team of Craft at the Centre,
Dawn, Sue, Penny & Natalie
are so happy to reopen our doors and welcome back all our students on 17th May.
Whilst in lockdown, we have been busy behind the scenes, rearranging and redecorating our studios as well as planning new classes.
The new classes available are for hand-builders with an introduction to wheel throwing and an evening class for Teens. We also have some spaces on both our wheel throwing and hand building classes, please have a look in The Pottery section for contact details of our tutors.
Craft at the Centre is a focus for craft practitioners and teachers, working together to develop a vibrant social hub for community engagement and wellbeing through craft and creativity.
We offer weekly pottery classes to all levels and weekend workshops in our well equipped pottery. We also hold informal drop-in sessions in the pottery where people can come and use our facilities to work on their own projects in a supportive, social setting. We occasionally offer weekend workshops in a variety of different crafts together with family events, activity days and seasonal celebrations. See our Events page.
If you are looking to learn a craft, develop your skills further or just fancy treating yourself to some stress busting creativity, why not see what we have on offer? If you are a craft practitioner and are looking for bench space or a chance to meet up with other craftsmen and women to share ideas please do contact us.
